ROBIN L. McGEE (Costume Design) is originally from Highland, Illinois and earned her MFA from The University of Texas.

New York Credits include designs for The Roundabout Theatre, The Irish Repertory Theatre, The York Theatre, The Cherry Lane Theatre, The Little Shubert Theatre, The American Globe Theatre, The New York Fringe Festival, The Ionesco Festival and the New York Musical Theatre Festival.

Regional credits include designs at the Maltz Jupiter Theatre, The MUNY, The Goodspeed Opera House, Palm Beach Drama Works,  John Engeman Theatre, Weston Playhouse, Swine Palace Productions, West Virginia Public Theatre, The Fireside Theatre, and The Des Moines Metro Opera.

Awards include The Connecticut Critics Circle Award for My One and Only at the Goodspeed; a Carbonell Nomination for Dial M for Murder at the Maltz Jupiter Theatre, a Carbonell Nomination for Our Town at Palm Beach Drama Works; Best Costume Design at the New York Fringe Festival for Rainy Days and Mondays.

Along with her writing partner, Arnold S. Levine, Robin has written a book entitled “Patterns for Costume Accessories” a collection of over 80 patterns for period and contemporary accessories with complete instructions and illustrations of the finished pieces. The headwear chapter includes 12 patterns from baseball caps to mob caps. There are 22 variations of neckwear.
