Sara Jean Tosetti is a NY-based Costume Designer, originally from Paris, France.
Opera credits include Salome (LA Opera); Xerxes  &  Cato in Utica (Glimmerglass Festival); Radamisto (Julliard); Golden Days (Hyundai Theatre, South Korea); The Ballad of Baby Doe, Carmen, Orpheus in the Underworld, Rinaldo & Cendrillon (Central City Opera); the world première of As One (BAM).   Theatre credits include Tis Pity She’s A Whore (Duke);  The Maids (Red Bull Theatre); Loot (Lortel); The Winter’s Tale (Idaho Shakespeare Festival/Cleveland Shakes); Manuscript (Daryl Roth); Ragtime, Much Ado About Nothing, American Son, Absurd Person Singular, His Girl Friday (Barrington Stage Company); The Rivals, Richard III, The Tempest (Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival).  Dance: Phoenix Rising (with Complexions at the New Victory), Sediment (Jacob’s Pillow).   Film/TV Credits: Hot Tips to rock the Ballot (Albacore Club); Budweiser “Olympics” Commercial; Levi’s “America” Commercial; The Exonerated (Court TV).
Sara has been the Associate on multiple Broadway shows, including Anything Goes, designed by Martin Pakledinaz; Streetcar Named Desire, designed by Paul Tazewell & Old Times, designed by Constance Hoffman.   Additional Assistant work include Jane Eyre (Focus Features); Two Boys (Met Opera); Bette Midler: The Showgirl Must Go On (Caesar’s Palace).

Awards: Princess Grace Award: Pierre Cardin Theater Award; EDith Lutyens and Norman Bel Geddes Design Enhancement Award; Tisch School of the Arts, Outstanding Achievement Award.
